Kredo Consulting is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the variety of agency life: building strong client relationships, finding a great story, creating compelling content, securing media opportunities and making sure ambitious marketing plans actually happen.
At Kredo, we work with innovative businesses, particularly in technology, engineering, MedTech and healthcare, helping them turn complex products, technologies and ideas into communications that engage their markets and support growth.
The role
You’ll take day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of client accounts, working closely with clients and the wider Kredo team to plan and deliver integrated PR and marketing programmes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the key day-to-day contact for clients and becoming someone they trust for advice and ideas
- Managing PR and marketing plans from strategy through to implementation
- Leading client calls and meetings and keeping programmes moving forward
- Writing press releases, features, thought-leadership articles, commentary, newsletters, email campaigns, website copy and social content
- Identifying stories and developing creative media pitches
- Building strong relationships with journalists, editors and influential media contacts
- Securing and coordinating media briefings, including preparing clients beforehand
- Managing incoming media and advertising enquiries
- Developing PR campaigns around products, technologies, industries and events
- Supporting clients at exhibitions, conferences and virtual events
- Managing social media activity, including LinkedIn campaigns
- Managing newsletters, bulletins and email campaigns, including reporting on results
- Monitoring PR coverage, social performance and campaign results
- Producing clear, insightful client reports
- Keeping clients informed about relevant market, competitor and media developments
- Working against agreed KPIs and identifying opportunities to develop and grow accounts.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
