Role Description

The Account Manager – PR & Marketing is a full-time remote role responsible for leading day-to-day client relationships and delivering strategic communications programs. This role includes:

  • Planning and executing PR and marketing campaigns
  • Drafting and managing press releases, thought leadership content, and other materials aligned with client positioning
  • Coordinating media outreach
  • Managing timelines and budgets
  • Ensuring consistent messaging across PR, digital, and wider marketing activity
  • Monitoring results, reporting on performance, and adjusting plans based on market developments and client objectives

Collaboration with internal team members and client stakeholders is essential to maintain clarity, credibility, and momentum in all communications.

Qualifications

  • Strong Account Management skills, including client relationship management, project coordination, and campaign planning
  • Public Relations and Media Relations skills to manage press outreach, brief spokespeople, and secure coverage in relevant outlets
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal, to craft clear narratives and present ideas to clients and colleagues
  • Experience creating and managing Press Releases and related PR materials that align with strategic positioning
  • Experience in B2B technology sectors (e.g., MedTech, biopharma, telecoms, IT, AI, advanced engineering) is highly beneficial
  • Proven ability to work remotely, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines with high attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign performance, media results, and market trends, and translate them into actionable recommendations
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
