The Account Manager is part of a high-performing local market team focused on providing top-tier marketing services for one of our largest global clients. Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, this role collaborates with strategy, performance, creative, and production specialists to ensure a smooth client experience.

You will oversee the daily execution and coordination of client work, ensuring accurate and punctual delivery across all key project touchpoints. They act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, helping to manage timelines, clarify briefs, and resolve issues with a clear, calm, and collaborative approach.

This role requires a confident communicator and organiser who is detail-oriented and capable of establishing trusted relationships with stakeholders. The Account Manager plays a vital role in maintaining project momentum, ensuring alignment at every stage, and contributing to a smooth, efficient client experience. They also serve as the heart of operational delivery—ensuring client satisfaction, internal clarity, and cross-functional coordination.

The team plays a central role in delivering “Procurement as a Service” — ensuring transparency, quality, and efficiency across marketing investments. With a focus on retail and shopper activation, the Account Manager helps connect strategic priorities with local execution, contributing to smarter, quicker, and more impactful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of client campaigns and activities from planning to implementation in the retail space
  • Serve as a primary daily contact for internal teams and clients.
  • Manage and update project timelines, budgets, and documentation to maintain visibility and control.
  • Escalate issues and assist in resolving delivery challenges.
  • Coordinate with sourcing, creative, and production teams to ensure workstreams are aligned.
  • Assist the Account Director and Senior Account Manager in preparing presentations, reports, and reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with brand, budget, and process standards in all activities.
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement in workflow, tools, and client engagement.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in retail marketing, client services or agency delivery, with experience managing cardboard FSDU, POSM and in-store activation campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of structural design and 3D development processes, including renders, drawings, prototypes and production specifications.
  • Experience working with design, production, procurement and manufacturing teams to deliver retail display solutions.
  • Excellent organisational, project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and project costs.
  • Good knowledge of print production, cardboard POS manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Experience managing artwork, prototyping and production approval processes.
  • Proactive, results-driven and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within the spirits, beverage or wider FMCG sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
