An established communications consultancy is looking for an Account Manager to join its specialist healthcare public affairs team.

Working across pharmaceuticals, medtech, diagnostics and digital health, you’ll help clients navigate healthcare policy and NHS decision-making, build partnerships and improve access to innovative medicines, technologies and services.

You’ll join a collaborative team with a varied portfolio spanning corporate public affairs, coalitions, parliamentary groups and patient advocacy campaigns, with significant client exposure and opportunities to develop.

The role

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and deliver healthcare public affairs programmes.
  • Monitor political and healthcare policy developments, translating these into relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Develop clear briefings, campaign materials, consultation responses and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Support engagement across government, Parliament, the NHS, industry and patient organisations.
  • Coordinate projects, keeping activity on track and maintaining high standards of client delivery.
  • Work closely with senior colleagues and specialists across public affairs, PR and digital, contributing to proposals and pitches.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
