Job Title: Account Manager

Location

Hybrid, based from our Newcastle office (Cobalt Business Park)

Annual Salary

Circa £45,000 to £65,000 base salary + commission, depending on skills & experience

The Account Manager plays a vital role in driving Cybit’s growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the mid-market and enterprise space. Using a strategic, solution-led approach, the Account Manager works closely with customers to understand their needs and build long-term, trusted relationships that deliver value. The role is key to expanding Cybit’s customer base, building long-term partnerships, and managing the end-to-end sales experience.

This role offers hands-on experience selling enterprise solutions, with strong scope for development and promotion while owning new business acquisition within an assigned market.

We are looking for someone with

  • Solid experience in identifying, progressing, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term, strategic customer relationships.
  • Experience managing the full end-to-end sales cycle.
  • A track record of building and sustaining a healthy sales pipeline against targets.
  • Excellent presentation and proposal-development skills.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with marketing to support lead generation.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, including effective account management.
  • Experience maintaining accurate sales data and activity within a CRM system.
  • Ability to work with external partners and suppliers to support customer solutions.
