About Probe Industries

At Probe Industries, our vision is clear: to make every breath we take a clean one. We are committed to a future where safe air is the standard, not the exception and we are determined to raise the bar for air quality everywhere.

What began as a focused response to persistent industrial odours has evolved into a globally recognised business serving waste management, food production, construction, heavy industry and utilities. With manufacturing in Northumberland and a second facility in West Virginia, USA, Probe combines local engineering capability with global reach, supplying customers across the UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America.

About The Role

As Probe continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of our existing customer relationships and help us turn those relationships into long-term commercial growth.

You'll work closely with our CEO and CMO, and manage our Customer Engagement Executive, who will support you with account research, CRM activity, customer engagement and targeted outreach.

Your role will be to turn our commercial strategy into focused account activity, developing relationships, identifying opportunities and making sure those opportunities are progressed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop customer relationships: build strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs and maintain regular contact through calls, meetings and site visits.
  • Grow existing accounts: identify opportunities for additional products, services and sites within existing customer organisations, and develop plans to grow strategically important accounts.
  • Progress commercial opportunities: qualify opportunities, coordinate technical input, prepare proposals and quotations, and ensure follow up.
  • Lead the Customer Engagement Executive: provide commercial direction on account research, contact identification and outreach, ensuring activity is focused on the right customers and opportunities.
  • Follow up new business opportunities: support the CMO and CEO, where required, with lead follow up from exhibitions and marketing activity.
  • Provide commercial insight: lead on CRM management, with support from the Customer Engagement Executive, ensuring customer and opportunity information is accurate and up to date. Monitor account and pipeline activity, and share customer insight, opportunities and risks with the CEO and CMO.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
