Position summary:

The Account Manager serves as the main point of contact for an assigned portfolio of existing enterprise-level Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences clients, developing strong, long-term client relationships.

The role supports TransPerfect's Regulatory Solutions line of business, and is responsible for overseeing new requests, meticulously analyzing project requirements, defining timelines and budgets, coordinating with relevant internal teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality deliverables. Simultaneously, the Account Manager proactively identifies additional client needs and commercial opportunities, leveraging knowledge of the client's business, regulatory requirements and previous projects to identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling relevant TransPerfect solutions.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, commercially aware, results-driven and exceptionally detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize competing requests and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Position responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned portfolio of existing Pharma and Life Sciences clients
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders, developing a detailed understanding of their business, regulatory environment, workflows and ongoing requirements
  • Receive, review and manage a high volume of requests for new projects and services within the Regulatory Solutions line of business
  • Analyze and act upon incoming client requests to understand the scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, markets, languages, regulatory requirements and potential complexity of each project, proactively clarifying requirements when needed to ensure requests are sufficiently defined before project kick-off
  • Effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders (Production, Technology, etc.) to scope and progress client requests, monitoring project progress and maintaining clear communication with involved parties at all times
  • Monitor client activity, proactively seeking strategies to expand the relationship, recognizing patterns in client requests and business needs to identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities for additional services, new projects, new markets and complementary Regulatory Solutions
  • Partner with relevant teams to develop and present appropriate solutions to clients, providing support the preparation of proposals, scopes and commercial information where required
  • Maintain a strong understanding of TransPerfect’s Regulatory Solutions portfolio and remain informed of new capabilities and services that may address client needs
  • Contribute to overall account growth, client retention and customer satisfaction by ensuring that client requirements are understood, responded to and followed through effectively

Essential skills & experience required:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
  • Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Acute attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to identify discrepancies, omissions and potential issues in complex requests and project information
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent requests and competing deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into clear actions
  • Ability to build, develop, and maintain long-term professional relationships
  • Results-oriented and comfortable working in target-driven environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Desired skills & experience:

  • Experience using CRM and sales intelligence platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, or similar tools)
  • Knowledge of additional languages at professional working proficiency
  • Previous experience in Account Management, Client Services, Project Management, Business Operations or a similar client-facing role in a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory processes, documentation, submissions or related regulatory services
  • Familiarity with digital, AI-enabled or technology-driven solutions within the Life Sciences sector or other regulated industries
