About JAMY
We’re JAMY Business Support, an award-winning specialist provider of business support services and the operational engine behind some of the UK’s best independent residential surveying practices.
Think of us as the ecosystem that lets brilliant surveyors get on with surveying, while we take care of everything that keeps their business moving: enquiry handling, sales conversion, diaries, client relationships, administration, recruitment, systems and growth.
Because we work exclusively within the surveying sector, our team understands the terminology, survey types, client expectations, CRM systems and day-to-day realities of running a successful surveying practice. We act as a genuine extension of our clients’ businesses, helping them reduce administrative workload, improve lead conversion and build sustainable businesses.
We’ve built our reputation the old-fashioned way, surveyor by surveyor and referral by referral, with no big marketing budget and no corporate stiffness.
Today, we’re a fully remote team of 25+ people, all pulling in the same direction to help our surveyors’ businesses run brilliantly.
We’re professional where it counts (our surveyors trust us with their client relationships, after all) and genuinely good fun everywhere else.
If the idea of real ownership, a close-knit team and being part of a business quietly becoming the backbone of an industry sounds like your kind of challenge, you’ll fit right in.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead a small team of Business Administrators while acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of surveying businesses.
This is a varied role combining people management, client relationships, sales, account growth and operational oversight.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes genuine ownership.
You’ll understand how each surveyor operates, anticipate what they need, keep work moving, identify issues before they escalate and ensure clients don’t need to chase.
You won’t simply manage tasks. You’ll become a trusted extension of each surveyor’s business and a reliable link between them, JAMY and the wider team.
A key focus will be keeping surveyor diaries productive through proactive booking, lead conversion, relationship management and business development.
You’ll also coach and support your team, provide training and be willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved operationally when needed.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
