About Breakbulk

The Breakbulk events portfolio includes three market-leading shows focusing on energy, engineering, construction, industrial manufacturing, maritime, transportation, and logistics. With events in Dubai, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, Breakbulk connects the project cargo and breakbulk industry globally.

Role Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Account Manager to safeguard, retain, and grow our exhibitor base for Breakbulk Europe, while actively cross-selling clients into our Breakbulk Middle East, Breakbulk Americas, and Breakbulk Asia events. This role is pivotal in driving high rebook rates, maximizing client satisfaction, and unlocking multi-event spend across the global project cargo portfolio.

As part of your job, you’ll be

  • Achieve and exceed exhibitor retention and rebooking revenue targets for Breakbulk Europe across designated sectors and territories.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing exhibitors, acting as their main commercial contact and trusted advisor throughout the event cycle.
  • Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities to place European clients into Breakbulk Middle East, Americas, and Asia.
  • Maximize revenue from returning clients through up-selling stand space, custom sponsorships, and year-round digital media solutions.
  • Deliver onsite rebook campaigns during events to secure early renewals and multi-show commitments.
  • Track client satisfaction and engagement to minimize churn risk and ensure ongoing event ROI.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, rebook tracking, and pipeline reporting.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams across our global offices to support portfolio-wide growth initiatives.

Here’s what we’re looking for from you

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in exhibitions, trade shows, or conference events.
  • Proven track record in exhibitor retention, rebooking campaigns, and consultative cross-selling.
  • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills via phone, video, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Experience in packaging sponsorships, booth upgrades, and digital media solutions.
  • Highly organized with strong project management, pipeline tracking, and CRM skills.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and collaborative team player with a customer-first mindset.
