CastleGate Forwarding (CGF) is Wayfair's freight forwarding division, dedicated to supporting suppliers' international supply chain needs. With a focus on providing exceptional service, CGF strives to become the preferred freight forwarder for Wayfair’s suppliers.
As an Account Manager, you will manage qualified supplier leads and supplier relationships, support new account setup, drive growth, and optimise supply chain performance. This role involves strategic advising, data analysis, sales engagement and cross-functional collaboration to enhance supplier experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and ambitious team on our mission to expand our European and UK market by converting promising and high-quality suppliers into successful CGF accounts and supporting their growth.
What You’ll Do
- Manage qualified supplier leads and a portfolio of suppliers across our CastleGate Forwarding business.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, acting as their growth and strategic advisor, and execute negotiations to secure the best rates and volumes.
- Convert qualified leads by presenting CGF’s supply chain value proposition and identifying supplier needs.
- Support new supplier account setup and onboarding, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth implementation.
- Analyse key metrics and derive strategies on how to improve supplier and team performances.
- Drive relationships and collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company’s and customer’s standard operating procedure.
- Attend trade shows and visit key suppliers (2-5 times per year).

What You’ll Have
- Experience in sales, account management, business development, or a similar commercial role.
- Proven ability to grow accounts, identify opportunities, and negotiate effectively.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- A target-driven, commercial, and data-led mindset.
- Strong Excel or GSheet skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Logistics, supply chain, or freight-forwarding experience is advantageous.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
We are open to candidates from diverse backgrounds; however, experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding will be considered advantageous.
