Role Description

The Account Manager/Sales Consultant is a full-time hybrid role based in Kingston Upon Thames, with a blend of office and work-from-home flexibility. The role involves managing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Indigo’s portfolio of training and development solutions. The Account Manager/Sales Consultant will collaborate with the delivery and operations teams to schedule workshops, ensure smooth programme implementation, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction. The role also includes:

  • Maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Contributing to sales campaigns
  • Providing feedback on market trends and client needs

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in account management, client relationship building, and consultative selling.
  • Ideally some experience in business development, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and closing sales.
  • Strong communication skills, including professional email writing, phone and video call communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain training, learning, and development solutions in a clear, outcomes-focused way.
  • Competence in using CRM systems, office productivity tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and online meeting platforms.
  • Organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and sales activities effectively.
  • Experience in the training, L&D, or professional services sector is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to collaborate in-person in Kingston Upon Thames and independently from home.
  • Proactive, commercially aware mindset and a commitment to delivering excellent service to clients.
