Account Manager – Sales Operations (UK)

Purpose

Own the health and growth of an existing account portfolio while taking the operational load off senior account leads, freeing their time for client and advisory conversations. This role would suit a second/third jobber with enthusiasm and dynamism.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver 25% YoY revenue growth across named accounts through account growth plans, a rolling 12-month forecast and at least two expansion plays per account each quarter
  • Protect the base: track renewals 90 days out, flag flat or declining run-rate, and build three named relationships per account
  • Run quarterly business reviews with a commercial ask in every session
  • Prepare all client-facing material, circulate actions within 24 hours, and coordinate delivery, resourcing and finance on the lead's behalf
  • Own proposal and SOW production, version control and internal review deadlines
  • Research look-alike UK accounts (financial services, non-profit, utilities and energy, EdTech), build a specific reason to meet, and run multi-touch outreach to secure qualified senior appointments
  • Plan and organise CIO events and round tables
  • Maintain daily CRM discipline — every opportunity dated with a next step

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
