Location: Remote – Ideally located in Yorkshire (M62/M1/A1) - Leeds/York/Doncaster

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated Account Manager to join the busy sales support team on a remote basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting revenue growth in patch, service and execution of existing contracts, contract retention, company external compliance management, managing workflow and seeing through from conception to completion. Must be able to manage own diary for majority field-based role consisting of 80% on site work 20% business support/reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with senior account managers to effectively manage and grow your existing customer base
  • Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities throughout your sales region
  • Work with Sales Manager through the sales cycle to completion and contract start date
  • Work closely with technical staff and development team to meet customer needs
  • Ensure first class customer service is always delivered
  • Complete and manage customer orders using relevant company technology
  • Contribute to development in innovation platforms and any other improvement initiatives.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external customer debriefs.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales management system (CRM).

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Results driven and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management and territory planning skills
  • Showing accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Enthusiastic and positive approach

Experience & Knowledge

  • Preferred but not essential - experience in an account management role within the water treatment industry
  • Must possess a current full UK driving licence
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • A Sciences, Environmental Science or Engineering background to HND / Degree level would be desirable but not essential.
  • Sales qualifications desirable.
