About the Role

Our Account Managers are responsible for managing the business relationships between Invida and its customers. From the introductory stages of tendering for new contracts, through to the evolution of existing customers use of the platform, Invida Account Managers work with current and prospective new customers to ensure they understand and utilise the features of the INVIDA platform.

Critical to success in this role, Invida Account Managers must have the skills to build strong relationships with customers. Ensuring our customers’ expectations and requirements are understood throughout their subscription and working with customers to develop plans for improving existing working practice through the use of the INVIDA modules.

Our Account Managers often become the principal contact for an assigned pool of customers, often in a similar industry or sector. This allows us to better understand our customers’ requirements and to share knowledge across our customer base of best-practice and novel solutions to shared challenges across an industry or sector.

Key Responsibilities

Invida Account Managers take ownership of the development of customer relationships, working to ensure customer expectations are met in terms of the capability and utilisation of the INVIDA platform.

This work includes:

  • Regularly attending online and occasional in-person meetings with customers, ensuring project activities are planned and progressed appropriately and ensuring their requirements are fulfilled throughout the use of their subscription to INVIDA.
  • Working on mobilisation activities as new customers award us contracts, or new modules are added to their subscription. This often means managing multiple mobilisations simultaneously, so the ability to effectively manage time is critical to being successful in the role.
  • Ensuring customers are introduced to new features added to the INVIDA platform, which support them in delivering their organisational objectives.
  • Capturing customer requests for improvements or enhancements to the existing platform, sharing product development ideas with the wider team at Invida, to support the decision-making process for future developments to the platform.
  • Working confidently with customers in one-on-one or large groups, to deliver training on how to use the INVIDA platform. This often includes working with our customers' other Service Providers, so the ability to quickly build rapport with others is important.
  • Documenting standard operating procedures and writing technical user guides to be shared amongst customers, helping them to understand how to use the platform.
  • Performing offline work for clients, including validating data imports, preparing content for bulk-upload and working with other Invida employees to cleanse and import data sets into the platform for customers to work with.
  • Generation of sales, including presenting the INVIDA platform to prospective new clients who have no previous exposure to it and working with existing customers to promote additional features to help meet their organisational needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience

Critical to success in the role of an Invida Account Manager is the ability to effectively communicate with people, to ensure their requirements and expectations are understood and that throughout the relationship between Invida and its customers trust is built. Well-developed aural, verbal, and written communication skills are the foremost attributes we look for in an Account Manager.

People and the relationships we build with them are fundamental to the Invida business. An Invida Account Manager should be comfortable working in professional environments, meeting and working with diverse clients and supporting groups of customers with varying levels of capability and experience working with complex software applications. Our Account Managers frequently deliver training sessions one-to-one, or as part of a training programme with a larger cohort. Experience of having delivered learning objective-oriented training to others would be highly desirable.

Our customers often have large data sets to be cleansed and processed as part of mobilisation of the INIVDA platform. As an Account Manager, you will be hands-on with this work, so strong IT skills are beneficial. This includes familiarity with working with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically with Microsoft Excel. Other applications we use in our daily business activities include presentation building software, word processing software, email, diary planning tools, and virtual meeting software.

Invida Account Managers frequently manage simultaneous mobilisation projects, where having a methodical approach to project management and working practices often brings about the most effective delivery for the customer and Invida. Experience of having managed multiple, complex projects, where a stakeholder-focused approach was used, would be considered an advantage.

The Invida platform is continuously evolving, as customers’ requirements change and as we continuously improve the product. Therefore, an Invida Account Manager would ideally have experience of working in an agile environment, where change is common and be comfortable adapting to and working with a dynamic product.

Desirable, but by no means critical to success in the role of an Invida Account Manager, is exposure to and understanding of built environments. The INIVDA platform allows our customers to manage digital versions of their physical estates and assets contained within them, ensuring buildings and spaces are effectively utilised and maintained according to statutory or organisational requirements. An understanding of how buildings are maintained and asset lifecycle is managed, is useful in ensuring customers’ expectations are understood and delivered.
