We’re Hiring: Account Manager (SC Clearance Required)!
📍 Location: Hybrid, North West + Regular Site visits
💰 Pay: £45K - £50K Depending on experience + £7,200 Car Allowance + 25 days annual leave.
🕒 Working Hours: Monday - Friday (With Flexibility to attend industry & client events when needed)

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of service delivery across a portfolio of sites throughout the North West. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and people-focused leader who thrives in fast-paced operational environments and is driven by delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
As our new Account Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across multiple locations, building lasting client relationships, and leading teams to consistently exceed performance expectations. Working closely with both customers and operational teams, you will drive service standards, manage contractual delivery, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and create a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence.
The successful candidate will bring excellent stakeholder management skills, a proven track record of leading geographically dispersed teams, and the ability to balance commercial objectives with exceptional customer and people service. You'll:
- Lead, coach, and develop Site Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and frontline colleagues.
- Build trusted relationships with key customers and stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact for operational matters.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure contractual KPIs, service levels, and business objectives are consistently achieved and exceeded.
- Manage recruitment, workforce planning, and succession planning to maintain a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of engagement, recognition, and accountability across the account.
- Oversee budgets, resource planning, and operational efficiency to deliver strong commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
- Monitor performance, manage incidents, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Identify opportunities to enhance services, improve customer experience, and add value to the account.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and share best practice to support wider business success.

Qualifications
What you'll bring...
- Experience managing large operational teams within a service-led environment.
- A track record of delivering operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
- Experience of driving employee engagement, development, and retention.
- Knowledge of planning, forecasting, and organizational capabilities.
- The ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' management experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to obtain SC Clearance to operate on clients' sites.
- Experience managing customer relationships and service delivery.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of budget management and P&L accountability.
