About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Account Manager to develop and grow our Screeding & Flooring customer base across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our range of high-quality screeding and flooring solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction sales, flooring, building materials, or technical specification sales who enjoys building long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the screeding and flooring sector.
- Visit contractors, distributors, merchants, architects, specifiers, and flooring installers across the assigned territory.
- Promote the company's screeding and flooring product range and provide technical guidance where required.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
- Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with internal teams including Customer Service, Technical Support, Operations, and Logistics to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline using the CRM system.
- Achieve agreed sales targets, KPIs, and business objectives.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade events, and customer meetings.

Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in a sales or account management role within construction, building materials, flooring, or screeding.
- Proven ability to develop customer relationships and grow sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Desirable
- Knowledge of screeding systems, flooring products, insulation, adhesives, or related construction products.
- Experience selling into contractors, merchants, distributors, or specification markets.
- Technical understanding of flooring applications and construction practices.
