WHO WE ARE

Ult-Consult Ltd is a Business Development Consultancy that supports small and medium-sized enterprises in achieving sustainable commercial and operational growth within the construction sector.

We specialise in working with SMEs that are ready to invest in outsourced business development and are focused on long-term expansion. We typically operate on 6-12 month contracts, where we introduce clients to suitable partners, arrange face-to-face and virtual meetings, and assists with procurement to help them secure and deliver new work all over the UK. The objective is to position contractors to gain multiple new clients over each contract term, creating ongoing revenue opportunities.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team and manage relationships with SME clients across the construction sector, with a strong focus on social housing or facilities.

You'll walk into a live, warm client base from day one, no cold starts. 75% of our clients sit within social housing, so if you've recruited into that sector (or facilities), you'll hit the ground running.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ringing up our client base and coordinating client onboarding and understanding growth plans
  • Maintaining regular contact through meetings, calls and emails
  • Tracking progress against targets and managing your pipeline
  • Organising introductions and meetings with prospective clients
  • Supporting procurement-related activities
  • Working with internal teams to improve service delivery and resolve client issues

What we're looking for:

  • Experience within social housing or facilities preferred
  • Strong account management and client relationship skills
  • Business development and commercial acumen, construction or professional services background ideal
  • Highly confident communicator, comfortable leading meetings and presenting to clients
  • Organised, target-driven, and comfortable managing a pipeline
  • Comfortable with hybrid working and Microsoft Teams/Basic office software
  • A self-starter who can also work as part of a small, tight-knit team
