Boutique Brands is a growing premium drinks distributor representing a distinctive portfolio of spirits, liqueurs, aperitivo, vermouth, gin, vodka, whisky and rum brands across the UK. Our portfolio includes Lazzaroni, Portofino Gin, Altamura, ETSU, Kurayoshi, Goalong, Kiyomi and Express Distillers.
We are looking for an Account Manager Consultant to help us grow our presence across the South West and South Wales, initially focusing on Bristol, Bath and Cardiff. This is initially a 2–3 day per week consultancy role, with the opportunity to develop into a full-time permanent position as the territory grows.
The Role
The main focus will be developing new business and building strong relationships across the premium on-trade. You will:
- Open new accounts and develop existing relationships.
- Secure back-bar, menu and cocktail listings.
- Build relationships with bars, restaurants, hotels and independent venues.
- Introduce and develop our brands within the region.
- Support staff training, tastings, menus and activations.
- Work with wholesalers to drive availability and repeat orders.
- Identify new opportunities and provide regular market feedback.
- Manage your own diary, territory and customer follow-up.

Who We're Looking For
We want someone who understands and enjoys the drinks trade and is comfortable building relationships with bartenders, managers, buyers and owners. You don't necessarily need extensive sales experience. We're more interested in someone who is:
- Confident, personable and commercially minded.
- Passionate about premium drinks.
- Well connected within the on-trade, or capable of building a strong network.
- Organised, proactive and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Keen to learn and develop.

The initial focus is Bristol, Bath and Cardiff, with scope to develop the wider South West and South Coast over time. This is an opportunity to build a territory from the ground up, work with a growing portfolio of premium brands and make a real impact on the business.
For the right person, we see this developing into a full-time role with increasing responsibility for the region.
