Job Title: Account Manager

Company: WeAreNinety

Location: Manchester (Wilmslow) - Hybrid

Reports To: Client Services Director

Package: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum pro rata, plus new business bonus, hybrid working and a flexible culture

About Us:

WeAreNinety are sports marketing and activation specialists based in Wilmslow, Manchester and London, with a global reach. We work with brands, rights holders, athletes, talent and creators to bring them closer to the global sports audience. With a wealth of industry experience and expertise, we've managed award-winning campaigns and work with some of sports biggest names. We are hyper-connected, highly regarded, and trusted industry experts who cover every blade of grass throughout our work, leaving it all out there!

We are big enough to work with major brands, rights holders and athletes, and small enough that your ideas actually land. There are no layers of process and politics to fight through here. Good thinking gets backed, quickly.

Come and join the team!

Who WeAre Looking to Hire:

Maybe you are brilliant at what you do, but your ideas get stuck in layers of process.

Maybe you are tired of inheriting problems instead of shaping solutions.

Maybe you are ready for a role where you lead the client relationship rather than support it, and where the work you do is visible to the whole business.

WeAreNinety is looking for a top class operator, a driven and experienced Account Manager with 3-5 years experience to lead key client relationships, ensure the successful delivery of high-impact sports marketing campaigns, and drive the collective’s growth.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, great communicator, passionate about sports and thrive in a start-up sports marketing business. You will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, delivering against KPIs, and collaborating with internal teams & partners to ensure we consistently exceed expectations.

The dream candidate will have experience working in sports marketing either for a rights holder, brand or agency! You will be joining WeAreNinety at an exciting period of growth and will have the opportunity to play a leading role in shaping our future!

You will not disappear into layers of hierarchy. You will work closely with the Founder and Client Services Director & the wider team, with real proximity to decision making and a genuine voice in how we do things.

Role Description:

This is a full time hybrid role for an Account Manager at WeAreNinety. The Account Manager will lead key client relationships, ensure the successful delivery of high-impact sports marketing campaigns, and drive the collective’s growth. While the role will be based in the Manchester area, there is flexibility for remote work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
