Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire (Coverage across local client sites)
Salary: GBP40,000 per annum + Company Car
Are you an experienced operational leader in cleaning or facilities management looking for your next challenge?
Following several major contract wins, we are expanding our thriving Education Division and seeking an energetic, people-focused Cleaning Account Manager to lead operations across a dedicated portfolio of sites in Cambridge.
In this dynamic, high-impact role, you will lead, inspire, and develop a team of cleaning operatives to deliver flawless standards for our key education client. No two days are the same: your leadership, organizational flair, and client-relationship skills will directly drive operational excellence, team morale, and client satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for our client, conducting regular contract review meetings to ensure exceptional satisfaction and service delivery.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and motivate local cleaning teams, fostering a positive workplace culture focused on high standards and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site audits, performance reviews, and management reports in close partnership with the Operations Manager.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all Health and Safety guidelines, COSHH standards, and company procedures are strictly embedded across all sites.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify operational efficiencies, smart working practices, and opportunities to add value to the account.

What We're Looking For
- Industry Experience: Proven track record in managing commercial cleaning contracts (experience within the education sector is highly desirable).
- Leadership and Drive: Strong team leadership skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and excel in fast-paced environments.
- Commercial Awareness: Hands-on experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
- H and S Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety compliance within the cleaning or FM sector.
- Mobility: A full UK Driving Licence (a company car is provided for site visits across Cambridge).
