Account Manager
Horsham, West Sussex
£35,000 – £40,000
A well-established engineering company is looking for an Account Manager to join their team in Horsham.
This is a permanent, office-based role focused on managing a portfolio of existing customers and converting new enquiries into long-term business. You will be commercially focused, responsive, and able to build strong relationships while driving revenue growth.
The Role
As Account Manager you will:
- Grow revenue across your existing accounts and new leads
- Respond quickly to enquiries and convert quotes into orders
- Proactively manage customer relationships and re-engage quieter accounts
- Identify opportunities to expand business within your customer base
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM
- Work independently and take full ownership of your accounts

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Minimum 2 years experience in B2B sales, account management or technical customer service
- Proven ability to manage and grow both existing accounts and new business
- Strong commercial awareness, including confidence with margins, pricing and lead times
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail
- Stable work history
- Lives within commuting distance of Horsham (or willing to relocate)

Desirable
- Experience selling into industrial or technical markets
- Comfortable discussing technical products and specifications
- Previous use of CRM or ERP systems
