Job Description: Account Manager

About the Role

The Account Manager is responsible for driving the day-to-day running of client accounts, supporting the team’s delivery of creative, impactful PR strategies and campaigns for clients, while leveraging and building strong media, influencer, and key network relationships. You will be a key point of contact for clients and play an active role in campaign execution, event delivery, and media engagement.

You will be able to embody The Beacon’s culture, being proactive, ideas-led, and purpose-driven, contributing to the agency’s reputation for thoughtful, creative communications and excellent client management.

Reporting To:

  • Account Director & Founding Partners

Main Requirements

  • Currently operating at Senior Account Executive or Account Manager level
  • Strong fashion and lifestyle media contacts across print, digital, and influencers. Experience within the US market also beneficial but not necessary
  • Proven experience managing events, including but not exclusive to press events, pop-ups and/or brand activations, influencer activations, and launches end-to-end
  • Solid understanding of campaign delivery and product launches from planning through to reporting
  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Experience working with affiliate agencies or platforms is desirable but not essential
  • Highly proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate client needs
  • Strong organisational and admin skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confident communicator with clients, media, and internal teams
  • Passion for creative ideas and cultural relevance within PR
  • Knowledge and passion for fashion and lifestyle industries. Able to demonstrate and leverage own personal network
  • Experience working with influencers and content creators, including outreach and management
  • Strong writing skills across press releases, pitches, and reports

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Support the day-to-day running of client accounts, ensuring smooth delivery of work and overseeing junior team members on the day-to-day admin requirements to ensure a seamless delivery
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and provide regular updates
  • Contribute to client meetings, status reports, and campaign planning

Media & Influencer Relations

  • Leverage your existing and maintain and grow a strong network of fashion, lifestyle, and influencer contacts
  • Lead on media outreach, securing coverage across relevant titles and platforms
  • Identify and manage influencer partnerships aligned to campaign objectives
  • Experience with sample management and logistics preferable

Campaign & Event Delivery

  • Support the execution of campaigns from concept through to completion
  • Support and lead on the logistics and delivery of events including press days, dinners, launches, and brand pop-ups
  • Coordinate suppliers, guest lists, run sheets, and on-site management
  • Experience with running small-scale event budget an advantage but not necessary

Content & Creative

  • Draft press materials, pitches, and creative ideas for campaigns
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh, culturally relevant ideas

Team Contribution

  • Support junior team members where appropriate
  • Play an active role in maintaining The Beacon’s purpose-driven, positive, collaborative culture
