£30,000 basic salary + commission (£51k+ OTE first year)
Clover Talent are exclusively working with a growing commercial finance brokerage based in Leicester. As part of their exciting journey and ambitious growth plans, we have been given a mandate to recruit an Account Manager / Finance Broker.
This is a tremendous opportunity to join a scaling business at an early stage, where you’ll be supported from day one and have the opportunity to progress into a senior position and ultimately manage a team as the business grows.
Clear progression opportunities into Senior AM / Finance Broker and Sales Team Leader as the business continues to grow.
What does this involve?
- Offering a range of funding solutions including asset finance, business loans, invoice finance, and other financial products to SMEs across the UK
- Cold calling and following up with prospects, with the ability to build rapport, understand their requirements, and ultimately close the opportunity
- Converting inbound and warm leads
- Managing your own pipeline and taking ownership of the process from initial conversation through to completion
- Building strong relationships with business owners and becoming a trusted point of contact throughout the funding process
- Working towards individual and company targets in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

What are we looking for?
- Previous experience within commercial finance is advantageous, but not essential
- Experience within an FCA-regulated environment or a similar sales process-driven industry
- Strong B2B sales experience, with recruitment, financial services, or other consultative sales backgrounds particularly relevant
- Someone confident on the phone, comfortable with cold calling, and able to build rapport quickly
- A strong communicator with the ability to understand a prospect’s needs and close opportunities
- Commercially driven, resilient, and motivated by earning and progression
- Someone who wants to join a business early in its journey and genuinely contribute to its growth
