Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Sheffield
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

The Client

Our client is an engineering-driven company, specializing in magnetics, targeting high technology applications in aerospace, defence, motorsport, medical, and other industrial markets. They work on technically demanding, low-volume, high-value engineering projects where quality, accuracy, communication, and delivery matter.

They are looking to add an Account Manager to their team.

The Role of Account Manager

We are looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of customer enquiries, quotations, quote follow-up, and account development.

You will become the commercial link between our client's customers, Production, and the wider business.

You will manage enquiries from the moment they arrive, understand what the customer needs, prepare quotations within agreed authority levels, follow opportunities through, support order handover, keep customers informed, and help develop repeat business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
