We're growing our Client Services team and are looking for a commercially-minded Account Manager who loves building relationships, solving business challenges and spotting opportunities to help clients grow, with scope to appoint at Senior Account Manager level for someone who brings stronger strategic, commercial and client-growth experience.
This isn't a role for someone who simply manages accounts and projects. We're looking for someone who wants to become a trusted consultant to clients, working alongside our Strategists, Project Managers, Creatives and Developers to deliver work that genuinely moves businesses forward.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you'll own a portfolio of clients, becoming their day-to-day strategic partner and ensuring they receive exceptional service while identifying opportunities to expand our work together.
- Work closely with our Strategy, Creative, Social and Development teams to shape solutions that solve client challenges.
- Take responsibility for commercial growth across your accounts.
- Support new business by seeking out opportunities in your clients' business, writing proposals, presenting solutions and helping convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
Client Leadership
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Become an extension of your clients' teams, understanding their business, objectives and challenges.
- Lead regular client meetings and strategic reviews.
- Ensure every client has a clear roadmap for future activity.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities before they arise.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience at every stage.
Commercial Growth
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts.
- Lead cross-sell and upsell conversations across our services.
- Develop account growth plans and annual account strategies.
- Work towards personal and team revenue targets.
- Support forecasting and pipeline reporting.
- Negotiate scope changes and commercial agreements.

Proposal Development
- Lead the creation of proposals and support statements of work.
- Scope projects alongside internal project managers.
- Prepare budgets, timelines and commercial recommendations alongside the wider team.
- Present proposals confidently to clients.
- Work with the Head of Client Services on larger pitches and opportunities.
Strategic Thinking
- Understand client industries and market trends.
- Bring proactive ideas to clients rather than waiting for briefs.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and planning sessions.
- Help shape digital strategies across web, brand and social.
- Champion our Discovery process and strategic workshops - as well as being part of them.
Internal Leadership
- Mentor Account Managers where appropriate.
- Share knowledge and best practice across the agency.
- Help improve internal processes and ways of working.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 3+ years in an Account Management or Client Services role within a digital, creative or integrated agency.
- Experience managing multiple retained clients.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Experience growing existing client accounts.
- Worked towards personal and team sales goals.
- Confident writing proposals and scopes of work.
- Experience presenting solutions to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand digital products and marketing services.
- Strong organisational and management skills.
