Account Manager, UK & International
About Incisive Health
Incisive Health is an award-winning healthcare policy, public affairs and communications consultancy operating across the UK, Europe and International markets. We design and deliver programmes that shape policy, influence decision-making and, ultimately, improve the lives of people living with different conditions. Our work supports clients to navigate complex policy environments and achieve meaningful change for populations worldwide.
We are part of Inizio, a global partner to the life sciences industry. Inizio brings together over 10,000 experts across clinical development and commercialisation, supporting many of the world’s leading life sciences organisations. Together, we help organisations accelerate the journey from innovation to patient access—anticipating challenges, reducing barriers and ensuring that life-changing treatments reach the people who need them most.
The role
As an Account Manager working across our UK & International practices, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality client programmes across both domestic and global health policy environments. You will manage day-to-day account activity, lead project delivery and contribute strategic insight to clients navigating complex healthcare and policy challenges.
This is a fast-paced and varied role. One week you could be supporting engagement around NHS reform or health system transformation in the UK; the next you may be helping deliver a global advocacy campaign or supporting stakeholder engagement at an international health summit. You will take increasing ownership of client relationships, manage project workstreams and help develop more junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Client delivery & account management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of client projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to a consistently high standard across multiple concurrent programmes
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, events and stakeholder engagement activities across UK and international programmes
- Drive the development and review of high-quality client materials, including briefings, reports, stakeholder maps, policy analyses, messaging documents and engagement materials
- Lead specific workstreams within larger client programmes, ensuring delivery aligns with overall strategic objectives
- Build strong working relationships with clients and serve as a trusted day-to-day point of contact

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
