Proclinical is seeking an Account Manager to join a dynamic team in the UK. This role focuses on driving sales growth and expanding market share for medical devices within the respiratory sector. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, including hospitals and educational institutions, while delivering exceptional service and fostering strong relationships. This is a field-based position requiring a proactive, results-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and drive market share growth for products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and educational institutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to existing clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies effectively.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, tailoring solutions to their needs.
  • Ensure professional, accurate, and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Manage an up-to-date sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.
  • Complete mandatory training, expenses, and administrative tasks promptly.
  • Develop and execute business plans for territory growth in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.
  • Conduct market analysis and share quarterly reports on territory insights.
  • Trial and apply demo systems for key opportunities within the territory.

Key Skills And Requirements

  • Strong sales experience, ideally within the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
  • Ability to gather and analyze market intelligence effectively.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly within the assigned territory.
  • A degree-level education is preferred but not essential.
