Account Manager – Growth Accounts (Pharma) | UK & Ireland

Amcor is a global leader in responsible packaging solutions, serving some of the world's most innovative healthcare and pharmaceutical companies. We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Account Manager to join our Healthcare team, managing and growing a portfolio of key pharmaceutical accounts across the UK & Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering value-driven solutions within a dynamic and highly regulated industry.
Based remotely in the UK or Ireland, you'll spend significant time with customers, acting as a trusted partner while collaborating with internal teams across sales, marketing, R&D, operations, and customer service to drive sustainable growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Grow and Develop Strategic Customer Accounts
- Manage a portfolio of established pharmaceutical and healthcare customers across the UK & Ireland.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies focused on increasing revenue, profitability, and customer engagement.
- Identify customer needs, market trends, risks, and opportunities to unlock new business potential.
- Build strong multi-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Create and maintain action plans that support business growth and exceed commercial targets.

Become the Trusted Partner for Your Customers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts.
- Build long-term partnerships based on trust, collaboration, and mutual success.
- Understand customer challenges and proactively deliver solutions that create value.
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure seamless customer support and issue resolution.
- Lead customer meetings, innovation sessions, product trials, and business reviews.
Drive New Business Opportunities
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within existing and prospective accounts.
- Work closely with technical and commercial teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
- Introduce new products, services, and innovations that strengthen customer relationships and fuel growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling commercial proposals and presentations.
Lead Commercial Negotiations
- Manage contract negotiations and commercial agreements.
- Balance customer satisfaction with business profitability objectives.
- Support the resolution of product, quality, and service-related challenges.
Deliver Commercial Excellence
- Own forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning for your portfolio.
- Monitor account performance and deliver regular business updates.
- Ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Experience in Account Management, Business Development, or B2B Sales.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, packaging, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of growing customer accounts and delivering commercial results.
- Strong experience managing customer relationships at multiple organisational levels.
- Fluent English required.

Location
Remote/home-based role within the UK or Ireland, with approximately 50% travel to customers and Amcor sites across the region.
