Account Manager

Salary: £39,184
Location: Bristol, UK
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time

Overview

Our client, a financial services organisation, is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales growth, customer retention, and account development across a portfolio of vehicle dealers.

You will own day-to-day commercial relationships, using insight and data to identify growth opportunities, develop higher-potential accounts, and reactivate customers. Salesforce is a core tool in the role, supporting targeted engagement, pipeline management, and measurable portfolio performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver sales strategies across a portfolio of large, mid-tier, and developing dealer accounts.
  • Build strong dealer relationships through structured calls, regular follow-ups, Microsoft Teams meetings, and, where required, face-to-face meetings.
  • Use customer and performance data to understand buying behavior, identify opportunities, and prioritize accounts with the greatest growth potential.
  • Lead commercial conversations focused on sales growth, retention, reactivation, and account development.
  • Work with colleagues to improve the performance of new, reactivated, and non-buying accounts.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce data covering contacts, decision-makers, activities, and opportunities, using CRM insight to target engagement effectively.
  • Monitor sales, retention, portfolio engagement, and productivity through KPIs, dashboards, and performance data.
  • Manage claims-related conversations within your portfolio, working with specialist teams to achieve fair and commercially appropriate outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
