About this position
As an Account Manager for Western & Northern Europe, you will play a key role in driving the commercial success of your designated sales area. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the regional growth strategy while working closely with an Inside Sales Specialist and an Application Engineer. This collaborative team will focus on optimizing both direct and distributor sales channels. Your main objectives will be to expand the customer base, build strong relationships with Vision System Integrators, Robot System Integrators, Machine Builders, Line Builders, and enable distributors to achieve their sales targets.

- Base salary: £60,000 - £73,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
- Variable compensation: Performance-based bonus/commission (details discussed during the interview process)

Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for defining and executing a market growth strategy, identifying key opportunities for expansion within your assigned area
- Develop and implement growth plans tailored to each distributor, ensuring their performance and sales results are maximized
- Focus on expanding direct sales by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key customers and prospects
- Act as the primary representative of the company in the field, attending meetings, giving presentations, and participating in industry events to strengthen relationships and drive sales
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring consistent revenue growth
- Work closely with the Inside Sales Specialist and the Application Engineer, coordinate efforts to optimize customer experience and streamline the sales process
- Responsibility for gathering and analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies
- Support distributors - provide training, tools, and resources to enable them to effectively sell the company’s products

Requirements
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of time within the assigned sales area (essential for maintaining and growing customer relationships)
- Languages: Fluent English
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial automation, machine vision, robotics, or a related field
- Possess strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop and execute effective sales plans
- Excellent relationship-building skills are essential, as you will be working closely with both customers and distribution partners
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team
- Experience in managing complex sales cycles with both direct and indirect customers
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as proficiency in CRM tools for pipeline and account management
