Account Manager - Legal Technology

Leeds (Hybrid - 1 day per week in office)
£33,000 basic | £47,400 OTE (uncapped) + annual accelerator

Their solutions include legal research databases, AI-powered drafting tools, compliance guidance platforms, and tax intelligence feeds used by law firms and in-house legal teams across every sector.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of approximately 150 existing accounts worth around £1m in annual revenue.

  • 100% existing business - focused on retention, growth, and proactive account development.
  • Sell legal research, compliance, and AI-enabled software solutions.
  • Engage senior stakeholders including Partners, General Counsel, CIOs and CEOs.
  • Identify growth opportunities and mitigate churn (c.11% accepted churn rate).
  • Average order values between £5K-£18K.
  • Growth target of approximately 20% across your territory.
  • Proactive pipeline management and structured activity metrics are key KPIs.

This is a consultative, value-based account management role focused on protecting revenue while driving strategic expansion.

The Candidate

We're looking for a structured, organised B2B salesperson who has:

  • 1+ year of B2B sales experience (SaaS, recruitment, tech, services or similar).
  • Experience in account management or retention-focused roles (desirable).
  • An understanding of discovery and value-based selling principles.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to engage senior legal stakeholders.
  • High learning agility - coachable, open-minded, and ambitious.
  • Strong time management and pipeline discipline.

The Package

  • Basic Salary: £33,000
  • OTE: £47,400 (uncapped)
