As National Account Manager, you'll take ownership of key grocery accounts, developing and implementing customer-specific business plans that drive growth, profitability and long-term success. Acting as the primary contact for your customers, you'll lead negotiations, identify opportunities, and work cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales, volume and profit targets across your customer portfolio.
- Develop and execute annual business plans aligned to customer and company objectives.
- Create and deliver Joint Business Plans (JBPs) where appropriate.
- Drive increased distribution and visibility of key branded products through permanent and seasonal opportunities.
- Plan and deliver profitable promotional activity that generates incremental growth.
- Review performance regularly with internal stakeholders and customers, identifying opportunities and addressing challenges.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Marketing teams on product launches, development and category opportunities.

- Proven experience managing grocery accounts within an FMCG business.
- Strong sales, negotiation and influencing skills.
- A track record of delivering profitable growth and developing customer relationships.
- Excellent commercial awareness and problem-solving capability.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A self-motivated approach with the drive to continuously improve and adapt.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- A North West base or willingness to work from Trafford Park.
