Account Manager – Westminster

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to take responsibility for the delivery of a major technical facilities management contract based at a large static site in Westminster.

This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced FM professional with a strong M&E background, excellent client-facing skills and the ability to lead a complex technical operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the technical FM contract.
  • Act as the senior client-facing contact, developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead the technical and facilities management operation across the site.
  • Manage engineering teams, technical staff and specialist contractors.
  • Oversee all planned preventative, reactive and statutory maintenance activities.
  • Ensure M&E systems and building services are maintained safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor contractual KPIs, SLAs and service performance.
  • Manage contract budgets, financial performance and commercial reporting.
  • Lead regular client meetings and provide detailed operational and performance reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, health & safety and technical requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors and supplier performance.
  • Oversee projects, remedial works, lifecycle replacements and asset improvements.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage operational risks and ensure robust contingency and business continuity arrangements.
  • Lead a culture of high performance, accountability and excellent customer service.

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager within Technical Facilities Management.
  • Strong M&E engineering background.
  • Experience managing a large or complex static site.
  • Strong understanding of technical FM, statutory compliance and building services.
  • Proven experience managing engineering teams and specialist contractors.
  • Strong commercial and financial management experience.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident managing senior client relationships and operational teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary: Up to £80,000
