ACCOUNT MANAGER

Events | Client Relationships | Commercial Delivery

An opportunity for an experienced Account Manager who enjoys working closely with clients and making things happen.

An established and growing events business is looking for an Account Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of existing clients and the successful delivery of their events and projects.

This is a hands-on role combining client relationship management, event delivery, and commercial account development.

You will be the principal day-to-day contact for your clients, working closely with colleagues and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered professionally, on time, and to budget. Just as importantly, you will be expected to understand your clients' businesses, build strong relationships, and spot opportunities to develop those accounts further.

The role

You will be involved in:

  • Managing day-to-day relationships with existing clients
  • Coordinating the delivery of events and projects
  • Developing schedules, budgets, and project plans
  • Working with internal colleagues and external suppliers
  • Monitoring progress, costs, and project margins
  • Helping prepare proposals and presentations
  • Resolving issues and ensuring effective communication throughout projects
  • Working with Finance on billing, purchase orders, and expenses
  • Identifying opportunities to develop and grow existing client accounts

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
