Account Manager – Chobham, Surrey
£33,000 - £38,000 DOE plus benefits
Our client is a highly successful digital and creative agency, and they are looking to recruit an Account Manager to work with their expanding client list. This is a full-time permanent role, and you must live locally to Chobham or drive to travel to their office. The Account Manager will help to deliver branding, websites, digital marketing, social, design, video and content campaigns for ambitious brands, they act as a true extension of their clients' teams.
As a smaller agency, this is a role where you can make a big impact. You'll work directly with senior people, get close to clients, and help shape the work rather than simply deliver one part of it, with broad experience and clear opportunities to progress.
The Role
- Own a portfolio of medium to large client accounts as the main day-to-day contact, building strong, trusted relationships
- Get under the skin of each client's business, objectives and audiences, offering informed recommendations and challenging briefs where appropriate
- Lead campaigns and projects from briefing through to delivery, on time, on budget and on brief
- Turn client requirements into clear briefs for Design, Digital, Social and Video teams
- Manage multiple workstreams, timelines and budgets, keeping a close eye on scope and profitability
- Lead client meetings and confidently present creative work, plans and results
- Spot opportunities to add value and grow accounts, and support and mentor junior account managers

About You
- Experience in a marketing, creative or communications agency (or similar)
- Proven experience independently managing client accounts and complex projects
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Highly organised, experienced in managing budgets, timelines and internal resources
- Commercially aware and a good strategic thinker
- Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused, with the confidence to take ownership and make decisions
