About the role
We have an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager to join our UK&I team within the Meat & Meals business.
The Account Manager is responsible for driving growth and profitability by managing a portfolio of high-value strategic customer accounts, selling all relevant Kerry technologies and products into the designated account portfolio – this includes taste, preservation, and coatings.
This role focuses on identifying opportunities, developing and executing account plans, and delivering innovative, value-based solutions that strengthen long-term client partnerships and achieve business objectives. The Account Manager acts as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, owns sales P&L, and collaborates cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical culinary background, who is passionate about food and has some existing customer-facing/account management experience, looking to take the next step.
This role requires significant travel to our customers across the UK and Ireland.

Portfolio Management
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring delivery of revenue and margin targets.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with organizational growth pillars.

Opportunity Identification & Prioritization
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit, revenue potential, and customer impact.
Commercial Ownership
- Own sales P&L for assigned accounts; drive margin expansion and profitability.
- Prepare and present account performance reports to senior management; forecast sales and growth metrics.
Strategic Account Management
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders (including C-suite).
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to support client business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and through strategic partnerships.
Negotiation & Contracting
- Lead complex contract negotiations and long-term supply agreements.
- Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, margin targets, and legal/commercial standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, R&D, operations, and other teams to deliver innovative solutions and seamless customer experiences.
- Lead client-facing initiatives and resolve complex client issues.
What you can bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience of account management, including managing large/complex accounts.
- Previous experience within an RDA/Applications or Culinary background, with the desire to develop yourself within Account Management.
- Negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM and data-driven decision-making at a strategic level.
- Technical experience in taste, preservation, and coatings.
