Shape a PR team from the ground up

Kopru is the PR agency of the DevComms Group, specialising in community PR. We help organisations create authentic relationships that drive trust, loyalty and impact. We do this by taking public relations back to its roots, building authentic relationships with the people who matter most, delivering results that truly add value.

We work across a range of sectors, including a significant property portfolio, alongside PR support for other DevComms Group projects and corporate PR for the Group itself. Our clients include Sainsbury's and Dorchester Living, among others.

This is the first appointment into the PR division beyond the Managing Director, a genuine opportunity to help shape the team and its client base from day one. You'll work closely with the MD on delivery, account management and client growth, with real scope to influence how the team develops as it grows.

We're hiring at both Account Manager and Senior Account Manager level, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing day-to-day delivery of PR programmes for a range of clients
  • Acting as a trusted day-to-day contact, building strong client relationships
  • Developing and implementing PR strategies and plans that meet client objectives and budgets
  • Drafting high-quality PR materials including press releases, media pitches, articles, briefing documents, social content and award/speaker submissions
  • Building relationships with journalists, editors and influencers across property, trade and consumer press
  • Proactively securing media coverage and PR opportunities for clients
  • Monitoring coverage and reporting on PR activity, results and impact
  • Supporting new business activity, from research to proposal input and pitch prep
  • Contributing to Kopru's own profile and thought leadership

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
