Venue Search London are one of London’s leading independent corporate venue finding agencies. This is a varied role combining client account management, venue finding, sales and marketing. You’ll be an important part of the Venue Search London team, working closely with the Managing Director and wider team of five across both our client and venue relationships and the day-to-day marketing of the VSL brand.
The role will suit someone who enjoys variety, is confident communicating with people and wants the opportunity to develop their experience across sales, account management and marketing within a small, growing business.
You’ll represent the VSL brand in everything you do, with excellent communication, attention to detail and a proactive approach being essential.
Account Management & Venue Finding
- Building positive relationships with clients alongside gaining a strong venue knowledge.
- Dealing with client enquiries via phone, website and email.
- Responding to enquiries and sending quotes to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Supporting the wider team with their enquiries where required.
- Speaking with venues to check availability, hold dates and obtain costs.
- Arranging site visits for prospective clients.
- Progressing enquiries and helping convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.
- Reporting on daily and weekly enquiries and bookings to your line manager.
- Working towards an agreed annual sales target.
- Raising commission invoices for venues and following up outstanding payments (training will be provided).
- Managing and maintaining accurate information across our systems.

Marketing & Content
- Managing the advertising sales and scheduling administration for the team.
- Contributing to and creating content for VSL email marketing campaigns.
- Leading our social media activity and helping develop engaging content (Instagram/Facebook & LinkedIn).
- Contributing ideas for new marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Supporting the planning and promotion of our VIP client events.
- Monitoring the content on the VSL website and suggesting improvements where appropriate.
- Uploading new venues and assisting with keeping venue information and listings accurate.
- Working with the team to ensure our online content remains current, engaging and useful to our clients.
- Proactively liaising with venues about advertising opportunities and helping to develop these opportunities to generate additional revenue.

About You
- A self-motivated attitude and the confidence to be proactive.
- An intuitive sales personality and the ability to build rapport with clients and venues.
- An interest in marketing, sales and social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to make your mark within a small business.
- A willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of the venue and events industry.
- An educational background or experience in marketing would be valuable.
- No previous event or venue experience is necessary.
Salary dependent on experience but is expected to be between £28-£30k plus bonus.
