The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Focus Account Representative to join a leading global manufacturer. This role offers the chance to become a trusted partner to strategically important customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery while supporting business growth through strong account management and stakeholder collaboration.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Work closely with customer service, sales and supply chain teams to ensure orders, enquiries and service requirements are managed effectively.
  • Support customer meetings and account reviews, contributing to strategic discussions and helping drive account performance.
  • Manage customer concerns and complaints through to successful resolution, ensuring clear communication and a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance the customer journey and share valuable customer insights across the business.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a senior customer facing or account management position, ideally gained within manufacturing, chemicals or a similar industry.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience handling exports and supporting customers across international markets.
  • Good problem solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues and delivering effective outcomes.

It’s great if you also have the following

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP would be advantageous, and additional European language skills would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience working within the chemical manufacturing sector
