About The Role And Team

As a South Asian Restaurant Specialist Account Executive for Uber Eats, you will drive marketplace growth by acquiring independent South Asian restaurant partners onto the platform. You will use your language skills, understanding of the restaurant market and relationship-building skills to build trust with merchants over the phone, managing the full outbound sales cycle from prospecting through to closed partnership.

This is a specialist inside sales role within a fast-paced SMB sales team. You will succeed by mastering your pipeline, leveraging data to drive territory growth, and using your language capability to reach and engage merchants who are harder to acquire through traditional sales channels.

What You'll Do

  • Specialist Outbound Activity: Drive a high volume of daily cold calling, using your target language where relevant to build trust and engage merchants, while consistently progressing deals through every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Territory Ownership: Execute a structured operational plan to hit acquisition quotas. Map market data and local business intelligence to identify high-value targets within South Asian cuisine categories.
  • Rigorous Data and Pipeline Hygiene: Maintain accurate data in CRM with diligent follow-ups, detailed meeting notes, and clear next steps. Monitor dashboards to ensure consistent engagement, preventing deals from becoming inactive.
  • Account Management and Partner Optimisation: Act as a strategic partner to merchants during and post-onboarding; evaluate business impact, manage initial partner health, and use upsell frameworks to introduce additional Uber products that maximise mutual value.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Partner with leadership to review pipeline health, deliver accurate performance forecasting, and maintain complete business visibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal teams to streamline the merchant launch experience. Share insights on objection patterns, merchant needs and what works to help shape our approach to underserved cuisine categories.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
