Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the successful execution of affiliate marketing campaigns, working closely with senior leads to support accounts. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who is eager to learn, committed to client satisfaction, and ready to contribute to the growth of our clients’ affiliate programs within the Rakuten Advertising ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Interaction
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through daily email and phone communication, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Proactively resolve issues related to billing, technology, and internal tools with support from management.
- Maintain high standards of email etiquette and clear, professional written and oral communication.
- Support client attendance at company events, including pre-event preparation and scheduling.
Campaign Execution & Operations
- Assist in the planning and execution of affiliate marketing campaigns, including sourcing publisher opportunities and managing communications.
- Perform essential detail-oriented administrative tasks to support client and your team.
Collaboration & Professional Development
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account service
- Continuously develop knowledge of Rakuten Advertising products, service levels, publisher types, and performance metrics.
- Showcase growth in presentation and analytical skills, specifically in interpreting performance data to drive actionable insights.
- Demonstrate readiness to "flex" into higher-level responsibilities as part of your professional development.
Minimum Requirements
- Communication: Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
- Time Management: Proven ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and adhere to strict internal and client-facing deadlines.
- Analytical Aptitude: Foundational ability to understand basic performance reports and identify key metrics.
- Technical Literacy: Proficiency in administrative digital tools (e.g., campaign management dashboards, reporting software, and office productivity suites).
- Accountability: Strong attention to detail, especially when auditing work or managing campaign assets.
- Growth Mindset: A proactive approach to learning the affiliate marketing industry and a willingness to assist with training and team support as assigned.
