About the role
As an Account Support Executive within our Fleet department, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent experience for our customers by ensuring their day-to-day fleet requirements are managed efficiently and professionally. You'll act as a trusted point of contact, handling customer queries, coordinating operational activities and providing administrative support to help keep fleet operations running smoothly.

Working closely with Account Managers, suppliers and internal teams, you'll take ownership of customer requests and operational issues from start to finish, ensuring actions are completed and customers remain informed throughout the process.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day fleet and customer queries, requests and administration by maintaining accurate customer and fleet records.
- Act as a point of contact for customers, providing a responsive and professional service.
- Support Account Managers with operational and routine customer requirements.
- Monitor outstanding actions and follow up to ensure they are completed.
- Identify potential issues early and take action to resolve them before they escalate.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and external partners to resolve issues.
About you
- Experience in a customer service role – ideally from within an office environment but not essential
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and ensure actions are followed through.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and other partners.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to identify potential issues rather than simply reacting to them.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution.

At Halfords, we operate a hybrid working policy with 3 days on site at our Support Centre in Redditch.
