About The Role
We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Assistant Accountant/Administrator to join our team. You'll gain hands-on experience in accounting and administration while working towards an AAT Level 3 qualification. This is a great opportunity to develop practical skills with structured training and support throughout your apprenticeship.
Accounting Duties
- Assisting with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
- Reconciling bank accounts and other financial records
- Supporting the preparation of personal tax returns
- Inputting financial data into accounting software
Administration Duties
- Answering incoming telephone calls professionally and directing enquiries as appropriate
- Setting up new clients on internal systems
- Arranging client appointments and managing diaries
- Responding to emails and client enquiries in a professional manner
- Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
- Assisting with general office administration tasks
- Handling confidential client information in accordance with company procedures

A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
It is expected that the successful candidate will continue to Level 4 AAT and become an integral part of the team and be able to take promotion opportunities as and when they arrive.
About The Training
AAT qualification at Level 3.
The successful candidate will undertake a full review of their existing skills versus what is required in their new role. First Intuition will then advise on the best apprenticeship programme for them. This will be a structured AAT Apprenticeship programme at Levels 3 (depending on candidate’s experience and knowledge).
