Up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Description:

Are you an experienced AAT Tutor who has delivered the full suite of AAT Level 2 qualifications from start to finish?
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Accountancy Tutor to deliver face-to-face teaching in Trafford Park, primarily at AAT Level 2, with some Level 3 delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor with proven experience teaching all AAT Level 2 units and supporting learners through to successful completion.

The successful candidate will combine strong vocational accountancy experience with a track record of high-quality classroom delivery, learner support, and achievement. Recent experience delivering AAT programmes is essential.

The role involves:

  • Delivering engaging classroom-based teaching across AAT Level 2 programmes, with some Level 3 delivery
  • Planning and delivering structured learning programmes that meet awarding body requirements
  • Teaching the full range of AAT Level 2 units and supporting learners throughout their qualification journey
  • Assessing learner work and providing timely, constructive feedback
  • Monitoring learner progress and driving achievement, retention, and successful completions
  • Using Smart Assessor, It’s Learning, and other digital systems to manage learning and assessment activities
  • Maintaining accurate learner records and supporting quality assurance processes
  • Liaising with employers and stakeholders to support learner progression and outcomes

You’ll need:

  • Recent experience delivering the complete AAT Level 2 qualification, including all units, from induction through to completion
  • A strong track record of classroom-based AAT delivery and learner achievement
  • Experience delivering AAT Level 3 qualifications (highly desirable)
  • Potential capability to support AAT Level 4 delivery in the future
  • A recognised teaching qualification, or be working towards one
  • Minimum of 5 years' vocational experience within an Accountancy role
  • At least 1-2 years' teaching, learning, and assessment experience within Further Education or a training environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Smart Assessor, It’s Learning, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and learner-focused coaching skills
  • A flexible, supportive, and motivational approach to teaching and learning
