The Finance Systems Accountant
The Finance Systems Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day ownership, support, optimisation, and governance of Workday Financials, including Prism Analytics and Accounting Centre.
The role is the primary functional expert for finance systems, ensuring platform stability, data integrity, effective controls, and continuous improvement. Working across Finance, Technology, and Data, the role will translate business requirements into effective system solutions while ensuring alignment with the organizational technology strategy and the Finance Transformation roadmap.

- Strong knowledge and experience of Workday Financials configuration, reporting, and optimisation
- Good finance process knowledge across P2P, R2R, and O2C
- Experience managing incidents, enhancements, and system changes within a controlled environment
- Ability to translate finance requirements into proportionate system solutions
- Experience prioritising competing operational and project demands
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience producing and maintaining system documentation, controls, and user guidance
- Part or fully qualified accountancy qualification
- Project management or business analyst qualification
