About the role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to oversee the financial operations across our UK and Ireland entities. Working within a dynamic hospitality and software business, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting management with insightful reporting and analysis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where finance supports innovation and growth.

Key responsibilities:
- Participation on handling of accounting tasks of UK and Ireland. Independent handling of accounting tasks
- Accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger
- Execution of travel expenses
- Takeover of payments
- Preparation of Value added tax returns
- Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Processing of payment transactions and receivables management.
- Communication with the state administration of the United Kingdom
- Active participation in various financial projects
- Creation and evaluation of financial analysis
- Administrative tasks
- Payroll accounting of the UK
- Moving to new ERP system and input of documents will be valued positively
What We’re Looking For:
- Successfully completed training in balance sheet accounting or commercial training with corresponding further training or about to finish studies.
- Work experience in finance and accounting
- Good knowledge of using ERP Systems
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong affinity for numbers as well as analytical ability
- Independent, goal-oriented way of working
- Willing to learn and grow within the company
- Experience of using Xero accounting software preferable
- Experience in accounting for hotels or restaurants
- Partly qualified or qualified ACCA
- Have been responsible for month end and year end
