Job Title: Accountant
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Location: South Lakes
Service Care are delighted to be working with a well-known organisation in the South of the Lake District. Due to internal promotion, our client is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team and lead a small team.
What you will be doing:
- Day-to-day management of the finance operations and internal functions
- Prepare the monthly management accounts and balance sheets for the 2 sites
- Responsible for the detailed reporting and variance analysis including commentary
- Monthly prepayments and accruals
- Managing stock reconciliations and funding
- Monthly payroll for the 2 different sites along with payroll journals
- Calculate and manage bonus and incentives
- VAT returns and other statutory submissions
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required

What you will have:
- Experience within the Motor Trade/Dealership accounting (highly desirable)
- Experience with management accounts
- Proven management experience
- High attention to detail
