Accountant | Ipswich | £37,000 - £43,000
We’re working with a leading Facilities Management company based in Ipswich to support the recruitment of an Accountant. The successful candidate will join a small but high-performing finance team and will be responsible for delivering a full accounting service to the company and its subsidiaries.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive accounting and financial consultancy support across Group companies
- Assist with annual budgeting, cash flow forecasting and ongoing budgetary control
- Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, schedules and variance analysis
- Partner with budget holders and senior management, providing financial insight and executive reporting
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure statutory returns are completed accurately and on time
- Support treasury management and provide proactive financial business partnering to drive value for money

About you
- Experience in financial and management accounting
- Experience working within a multi-entity environment
- Strong reconciliation experience
- Experience using finance systems, with advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to produce, analyse and present detailed financial reports
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Salary: £37,000 - £43,000
- Full-time, permanent contract
- Location: Ipswich
- Hybrid working (1 day per week in the office, 4 days working from home)
