WPR is partnering up with a client who are a growing financial services business operating across the financial advice, wealth management, and investment management space. They are looking for a fully qualified accountant to join their finance team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to extend or become permanent for the right person.
This is a broad accounting role with a strong focus on regulatory reporting, ideal for someone who is equally comfortable with core accounting and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support RMAR, MIF, and ICARA regulatory returns, including building supporting calculations and schedules.
- Manage monthly management accounts, cash management, VAT returns, and wider month-end activities.
- Support ad hoc finance projects, with exposure to areas such as FDD and M&A beneficial but not essential.

Key Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong management accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with regulatory returns, particularly RMAR and MIF; ICARA experience highly desirable.
- Financial services experience within wealth management, financial advice, asset management, or investment management, alongside excellent Excel skills.
