Sewell Wallis are working with a well-established accountancy practice based near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, who have an opportunity for a Senior or Semi-Senior Accountant to join their supportive team.
What will you be doing?
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders & limited companies.
- Preparing self-assessment and corporation tax returns.
- Preparing management accounts using accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
What skills are we looking for?
- Proven work experience as an accounts semi-senior or senior accountant within a practice.
- Audit Experience Is Desirable But Not Essential.
- Proficiency in using accounting software like Taxcalc, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various clients and staff.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
